I got this to wear with a knit fabric pencil dress for a Halloween costume. The waist cincher I got to go with it was pushing some of my stomach/side fat down into an unflattering position over my hips, and this shapewear (the first I've ever tried) definitely helps! It's also more comfortable than I expected, except for a couple little boning lines near the top (probably to help keep it from rolling down), which can dig in a bit in certain positions, but I'm getting used to it. I'm 5'4" and around 165 lbs and got the M/L, and was worried about the length according to the top rated review from someone the same height about it being too long for their torso and constricting their ribs (making it hard for them to breath), but it's not much more compression than a well-fitting sports bra. I anticipate it'll get a little annoying if I wear it for a long time (like a sports bra can), but after only 30 minutes of wearing it, so far so good! I'll update if it gets to be too much after wearing it to an event for the evening.

I never write reviews, but this shapewear was worthy. I was impressed because it stayed in place all night. I pulled it all the way up to the bottom of my bra so it was very comfortable. The only thing I did not like was how long the shorts were but I just pulled them up and they stayed in place. If you are looking for a shapewear item that stays in place, give this a try :)
